I've been both a Zenfolio customer and Smugmug. I've picked Zen as the best of the two a few years ago (it's also cheaper). But Smugmug has made strides, and now they are a WHCC partner (love WHCC). But Zenfolio has MPix which is also good. My Zen site for looks is //nrshapiro.com. I think Smug is a bit more customizable than Zen, but I like the photo management interface MUCH better on Zen.
DPCPrints is free for paid subscribers here, but honestly, the percent of your profit taken is much bigger their than anywhere else...50%!
I've had some luck with FineArtAmerica ( //artistwebsites.com ). It's $30 a year now I think (it was $25 when I started) and it generates a lot of views for work. Not as customizable as Zenfolio etc., but for those you have to get your own traffic. Here's my website there: //fineartbynature.com. You set your own profit and you get all of that...and you get some profit from the sale of accessories (e.g., frames).
(If you choose Zenfolio, you can use my referral code JS5-7XQ-F3A during sign up to save 10% off your own subscription ... and I get a rebate as well...referrals help fund the annual fee, but know that I wouldn't recommend them if I didn't think they were good, for any rebate.)
