Just doing some musing and rambling
I used to have a Canon T2i that had my workhorse lens (50mm 1.8) on it. I was generally satisfied with the sharpness I got out of it, but never blew me away.
Several months ago I upgraded to a 7D and was planning on selling my "under-performing" 50mm.
BUT..I've got to say, this combo (7D + 50mm) has got to be the sharpest pair I've ever had. They just mate so well together, it blows me away. Not sure if that is cause the 7D is soooo much better than the T2i or the intrinsic characteristic of this particular camera matches up well with the 50.
Amazing how this lens just came to life for me with the camera switch. Just performs spectacularly!!
I fully expect my front page to be almost exclusively this 50mm one of these days!
