So I'm in the market for a Canon 10-22 lens (used), and just wanted to ask those that have this lens, how sturdily built is this fella? There are several I a looking at in great condition, but are ~5 years old. Any reason to be wary of that age, or are these lenses built like tanks?
Yeah, that lens is kind of expensive but the prices have come down from when i picked up my version 1. I like the 2.8 to shoot handheld when it's getting dark out or if I want to shoot wide when indoors.
The downside of this lens is the focal range is really small, feels almost like a prime...and that loss of 1mm does make a difference.
