Nah.

It's just that the special for the same price on the 24mm f/2.8 IS is way more exciting.

(Unfortunately (Fortunately?) I am spending this month's play money on my GF's birthday trip)

The 24mm 2.8is?? Would never have guessed.

The GF! Technically, its not spending if the GF understands reciprocate ;)
