i have not tested triggers between companies. I expect that they should not work with each other. It would probably be considered bad if they did work well together i imagine (patents and stuff?).
Within Pocketwizard though, i have successfully married the tt5s and the ttpluses to work together at a studio before (all manual though). That is not an issue.
The best practice i think here is to buy all same brand and make. That will be the least trouble. I've heard members here use yongnuos and cowboys, both of which apparently work with some success, i use triggers at longer ranges and wanted to experiment with ttl radios so i went all out - at the time i could. |
