This place was a lucky find when vacationing out in North Carolina. We had just finished panning for gemstones and were walking up the street to buy some homemade fudge at the museum store. I noticed a very small building that was open to the public. I peered in through the open door and found small displays of a post office, general store, pantry, miner's workshop, etc. I told my husband and kids to go ahead and buy the fudge while I stayed there to take pictures:-) The day was perfect for lighting the interior - cloudy but sunny. I was there for about 15 minutes when they returned with the fudge. Here are a few others I took - there are at least 4 more that I have not yet had the time to process yet.
