I have a GoPro 3, a Hero2, and one of the 960s... all very fun toys :) The GoPro 3 is light years ahead of the older ones, but don't be surprised if you have glitches along the way. I really like being able to control it with the Ipad and my Droid, but there are a lot of times where I have to remove the battery to reset things because it hangs, or whatever.
Quality-wise, it's very impressive. The video is just outstanding, and the pictures are very good. I just shot some video this week at Noah's Ark (USA's biggest water park, in Wisconsin Dells), and it turned out nicely. It's always fun to stick the camera somewhere (like on a water slide) that you wouldn't be able to put a DSLR. |
