It's Backlighting, not black lighting. Sorry to tease. But seriously, either color or B&W can be back lit. It's the placement of a light source behind the subject that does the trick.
Another question on backlighting,
Would you mark down a entry if it used a number of lighting positions but the backlighting was the prime light source?
I'm in two minds with my potential entries.
