So I need to get my creative mind going and the thing I've been wanting to do for the longest time is make a music video.
Because I don't know anyone who is a good actor and don't want to pay anyone to be an actor for me I am looking for a song that I can do a music video without using people in the video and it still make sense. So basically a song that doesn't revolve around people.
Any suggestions? Literally any song will do.
I guess when I think about the idea I always seem to think of a slow song but I guess a faster song would work just fine, too.
I'm in no rush to do this as it is only a personal project to get my mind out of the creative slump that it is in. Haha.
It seems your idea is in the formulative stages. I think maybe you need an imaginary client with an imaginary project for an imaginary audience. Are you selling the features of a lens with a video demo? Featuring the beautiful sunsets we might loose if we don't recycle? A few more details will help to pick the music & make selecting the material for your video easier. JMO.

You have a very good point. Maybe I will sit down tonight with pen and paper and think of ways to narrow my "idea" to fit something more specific. This of course while I listen to as much music as I possibly can! Haha!
Taking pixelpig advice, I have come to the conclusion that the best way to think of a song to do a video to requires some sort of imaginary project. So below is my new project (of course this can be modified as it is in its early stages).
November 11th is the American holiday "Veterans Day" and this will be the title of my video. I will be doing this video to show others the true meaning behind the holiday. Many people including myself know someone personally who is in the military. I would like to not only try to make this video meaningful to the people in the military but also to the families who have lost loved ones who were fighting for our freedom.
Now, with that I still have no clue what song I want. Now, I am thinking a song that talks about the military would be good or something that just has a lot of emotion that I can make into a song about the military.
If you have any ideas or have a favorite song that fits this, please share.
I haven't flunked this project yet! In fact it's coming along nicely!!!
I have picked a song that when I heard it I saw the movie take place in my head! I've written down a script to go with the video and I have an actor! I know I said no acting but there is no voices from him and he will only be doing a few things for it that take any real ability to act.
I'm really excited to start shooting this and I am even more excited to see the end product!
P.s. - I do thank everyone who has helped with this even though you may not have noticed it as helping I am truly excited to start it!
