I feel I have no right to be honoured like this ... honestly.
Being on DPC always reminds me on the days when I learned to ice skate. I was already in my teens and anybody who has tried to skate will know how tricky it is :-). What makes it worse are all those good skaters whizzing past and going backwards and forwards with a single elegant twist, and there you are, mostly holding on to the side of the ring to try to keep at least upright! And eventually you get a few steps, and what a celebration when you manage a whole round, needless to say the victory is usually short lived and followed by an inelegant tumble or at best a desperate clutching of the surrounding wall. Well, that's me on DPC in a nutshell :-).
I am learning so much here. Theer are so many inspirational photographers here. I love browsing through past challenges.
Thank you to everyone for always answering my questions patiently. So many questions, so little time :-)
... Tiberius, I haven't forgotten or given up on that shot, just need to organise my time table with that of a 15 year old and sync it all with the venue :-). I will let you know what happened.
I have been a bit absent from DPC, because I am working on my pp and loving it. I have 2 images in challenges right now and may get another one ready for tonight ... maybe.
