Hi I am a photographer from Kingston, ON. I am a painter/photographer/copper_sculpturist. I created a company called the 5050 project and essentially what this is all about is fundraising for various causes. Here's how it works: my artwork is located at several restaurants in my area and whenever it sells I donate 50% to charity and the other 50% gets reinvested in the form of equipment, art supplies,etc. I am working on several things right now. I am fundraising for the MS society through their annual bike tour and also raising money for a group called the Hard Life Artists in Moshi, Tanzania. This is a group of kids that survived the streets by creating art and now by teaching others in the community to do the same. I have a Facebook page and I am trying to gain more awareness so that I can help these kids out. I am also doing a photography project where I post 1 image a day to this page, and some of the images will be available for sale, which I will donate to this group.
