My team pointed to submitting the Stairs one but the 300KB limit tripped me up. In order to submit it I would have had to bump the jpg compression factor up to 10 or 11. The image quality really suffered. So I unfortunately chose what would fit under the 300KB limit.

I have to say I much prefer the other two posted here. Great detail and toning, and excellent perspective. There's a stronger relationship in their frames that I think your entry lacks. That said, unless the dates are wrong, they were outside the challenge dates, no?

Yep, kicking myself in that I could have just resized them down to maybe 750 pixels and gotten it under the 300KB.
No, they were in the challenge date times I just posted them over other works I had in my workshop. At least I changed the title area otherwise it would have read Moon fish:-)

Thanks for the heads up on that. Fixed it to include date, correct camera, and camera setting info (in case anyone wanted to know what settings I used)

Topaz Clean works wonders for entries like this. I use it all the time because I have a lot of hyper-detailed landscape images. Play around with it a bit. Used judiciously, it peels out a lot of the granular-type detail while leaving all the significant detail in place. I've been able to pull images up from 55% of 85% or so.
