I think it looks very nice. A couple of suggestions: 1) the dark blue links on black might be hard for some to see. I think a better contrast would be good. 2) I think you should password protect the proof areas, to show customers you respect their privacy, and because the number of "more mundane" shots that end up in proofs are not good marketing materials. Better to start a set of "Best shot" samples.
Hmm...shouldn't be any "blue" links as I have them all defaulted to grey to match the text. That might be your browser over riding the page settings.
On point # 2, I am planning to password protect the proofs area. Just trying to decide how I want to go about doing it.
Edit: Decided how to do it and have now password protected the proofs.

Thanks for the comments Mandy. Currently the splash page holds my metatags for the search engines. Granted it probably isn't needed and may go away at some point.
Thanks for the heads up on the proofs page. I password protected the directories last night, but didn't get around to updating the page let people know. Finished that up today.
Yes, I opened the site up in IE and they are light with underlining. However, it's important to try your site with different browsers. Try your site with Mozilla Firefox. The hyperlinked text is dark blue on the black background. Might also hold true for other Mozilla browsers, like Netscape Navigator or Mozilla itself.
