So heres an update. I posted about this issue in the Canon forums website and somebody suggested bypassing the geo check with a vpn. I eventually solved the remote app issue, by using the "hideman app" I found on google play. I could now finally install the software after it hideman hid my ip.
I went back to the Canon forums and reported the solution by using the hideman app i found on googleplay. Two hours later the comment was removed. I then asked if I was being censored, two hours later that comment was also removed lol. Somebody saw the comment and private messaged me to find out if i deleted my own comment. So i know it went through.
Anyway! I have my app, it works well. The make up artist and hair stylist, were quite happy to be able to sit in an air conditioned vehicle and review images . While I shot in the middle of nowhere. |
