Hi
I just got the Canon 5D MK3 to replace my MK2.
I am using Canon 70-200 f2.8 Non IS len.
I was pretty comfortable using the MK2. The slow AF and slow frame rate and most of all BAD Photographer :) caused the keep rate very LOW.
What is the best setting? I know it is a general question...

AF? 61 points..I figure the more the better.
There are some NEw and Interesting settings that I have no clue
- AI Servo 1st Image priority and 2nd image priority. In there I choose FOCUS rather in the middle
AF configuring tools - This is where I need help. I selected Suddenly enter the AF point...As I want to shoot who ever I point the camera at..IS this a correct setting

mark3 has various options. each option comes with its own help menu. You probably want to tune the AF mode for your specific use (fast movement etc).

as for which af mode to use, depends on you really. Standard for sports is Ai-servo. some photogs don't like it and instead stick to. MattO is a legit Sports photog, but he uses Nikon. Still, I think general tips from him might be priceless.

This MK2 is an animal. The AF is so fast that my keep rate went up 300%

This MK3 Animal makes me look better :)
Fast focusing and frame rate is amazing. I have to refrained my self from pushing the max frame rate. I am still getting pictures that I cant get with MK2
