i had another idea in mind for the portrait challenge and scrapped it for IQ reasons:
the problem with this one was i could not get the reflection sharp. i even tried f11 and focused on the reflection and the reflection is still not sharp. i' wondering if this is a product of the mirror. I have better examples that show this, but its not blurry, its almost like a shifted concurrent images, see this one:
particularly the salt grains. see how there are a few reflection of the same grain? this was shot using the same mirror.
my question is is the issue im having a product of the severe angle or is my mirror flawed or is my technique flawed?
