Hi all, just wondering if anyone has bought/sold lenses over at FredMiranda? It seems to be a very reputable website with a lot of traffic. Just looking for 1st hand experiences. Never sold anything outside of Ebay, so always a little wary.
Fredmiranda is about the best place I can imagine to buy and sell equipment. I have sold there in the past (I don't often sell gear, LOL), and I use it regularly to check going prices for equipment.
I have sold tens of thousands of $$$ worth of gear on FM over the years. Bought just about as much as well. I highly recommend it. Just be sure and use Feedback and your own caution when buying and selling from members.
That's the thing. On Ebay I can block out people with negative feedback or low feedback. On FM there are very few members with more than 1 or 2 feedbacks, so its hard to be confident with that
buying you are protected pretty well with paypal, selling is where the issues are. make sure you read up on paypals policies and make sure you follow what they require and always insure the gear you sell when you ship it, even if the buyer doesn't want it. if it returns damaged, at least you have some protection

its not an auction, you can choose to deny or sell to whomever you want. you are allowed to discriminate if a buyer or seller doesn't pass the smell test.

There are plenty of members with a lot of feedback. I have over 120 recorded since the new system took over and probably 80 or more before.
How much feedback do you have there? If you have little to none, very few established members may even consider buying from you which is why only those with little to none(possibly like yourself) are considering what you might be selling.
