Or a total space cadet....I never received a nudge or invite from any one for this......I thought it was only a couple of hacks......now it appears a whole onslaught are "with-it "...... maybe I will go .through the membership list and see who was left sitting like brown wallflowers while you guys go dance the chacha together....hmmmmmmm that's actually not a bad idea as my fav photographers aren't even participating????? Or was this just a voluntary or elitist thing? I guess there are lots of other ways to participate that I never spent enough time out there trying.....I am pretty sure other newer participants are thinking like I am.... "what is this? More fun than the regular challenges ? Is this piracy? Or am I just clueless....or not good enough....".

I am a participant and I plan to play fair. I fully expect everyone else to do the same. I think the largely randomized make-up of the teams will go a long way in ensuring that, too. Anyway, I always try to remember to assume good intentions.

Same to me, I will vote like I always did (unless of course the teams have to put their team names on the image in which case I can vote very low selectively :-)

I think you simply missed the sign up and confirm thread, we had a fantastic response and I am sure it will be bigger and better next season so stay tuned.
now I feel like a total dummy......oh well.......so what I'm hearing you say is there are places where people start different things called "threads"? What's a thread? I hope I give everyone a good laugh.....I just haven't spent time on computers or forums or chats or rants...before NIKONJEB bought me a membership to this place.....DPC........I'm usually in my studio painting, drawing , writing or out trying to show my art work....or exercising and walking/running my doggie.........I'm thinking this DPC thing is a place where people get VERY competitive...and spend A LOT of time.......which I just don't have or can make.

I hope it doesn't mean the collective group of you participants are going to vote low on all other challenge entries in an effort to elevate your own team's placement. I'm quite certain I'll be ridiculed for that comment, but tactical voting from the TPL is a real concern of mine. There can be a lot of collateral damage. The trash talk implies cutthroat behavior.

I initially signed up for the TPL competition, but was accosted by a member with bad intentions. SC says he was just "joking", but it's not often I get a double f* you photo in my inbox. It was threatening enough to cause me to not want to participate in the TPL.
I'm certain there will be no depression of average scores cast in challenges involving TPL. But, we'll let the scores speak for themselves.

I dont think folks are going to sacrifice the integrity of this site in order to win. I'm sure many if not all participating want to win in a meaningful or fair way, otherwise are you even winning anything?

Is it common practice to NOT vote on your teammates images?
Not that we can enforce any laws here but we would REQUEST team members do not vote on each others images during TPL season.
And I thought Robert's entire list which included this and also that we should show teammates all our entries beforehand, even if not for input from them, just so that they would know NOT to vote on them, was excellent. Can it be part of the "Let the Games Begin" official announcement which I assume will go out to all team captains?
What happens if the wineglass has water drops in them?
then i suggest either hand-drying them with a cloth, or using something in your dishwasher to prevent water drops from leaving marks on your wineglasses - like Finish, or JetDry... ;p
