Agreed Johanna, and thank you, Francesca is wonderful to explore, she is similar to what is going on at Art Limited , a great site to contribute to. With Egg, I was more interested in his lifestyle and his modus operandi since that was quite a focus of the doco. It was interesting that even he thought his environment boring and bland yet conjured his imagination into producing good work (given he was an early adopter). I appreciate the work is dated, I am really more interested in his mindset and work ethic rather than the the equipment or success timeline. I particularly like how he only shoots once, at random with inherent classic composition then moves on and leaves that behind, dreams in colour, seemed a dual personality and was always looking in that photog way. |
