It's expert editing, so I think anything is game. :)
yeah, i just don't know how that's counted...
expert says you may not add graphics or clip art images to your entry or its border during editing.
i don't know if this is considered a graphic.
however even still the extra ruleset says you can add clip art or text.
just thought i'd get clarification as i've got several versions of images i could enter and want to pick which one would be the best choice based on this.

as i said, i have several images, and variations of some. i am not fully decided which to enter, but i wanted to know if i do enter one with a lens flare if it'll be okay.
if there's only one with a lens flare then i may have singled myself out, but if there are several you won't know which is mine (and if there are none, you won't know which is mine)
well, while we are discussing it... adding lens flare is OK... how about a filter that adds star-like thingys or highlights? i assume it is OK, b/c it is NOT clipart... however, what is the definition of "graphics"?

Those star effects are normally considered graphics/clipart, so they'd be ok for this challenge.
