We have enough equipment to qualify for the Gold Member. The annual cost is $100, not that big of a deal but:

1. Are the repair services worth it? I currently have a 40D that needs to have the shutter release fixed.

2. Do they actually 'loan' equipment to us lowly folks?

3. I'm thinking of using the customer loyalty program with the 40D to upgrade to a 5Dii or iii, any benefit there?

4. Am I missing something that may benefit me?

I tried searching the forums and didn't find much but I am terrible at searches.

i've been a member for 7 years and have found it to be well worth it

1) the three-day turnaround is almost enough to justify it

2) yes, but be careful...i had a hard time sending back a mark4

3) can't say

4) 2 free lens cleaning, discount on repairs. probably more, but that's it off the top of my head.

Thanks Skip, I also forgot that my 70-200 needs to go in. The window over the focal length decided to visit somewhere else and is open.

im a gold member, its free in Europe :)

have you got more than you have listed on here, i needed 2 pro bodies 5d and 5d mkii 20d doesnt count and 3 L lense my 28-70L wasnt counted anymore either
