Landscapes were the "in" thing when I first started with DPC. It seemed like almost every single free study, landscapes would win. The things really seemed to even out, change up, etc. I think there's been a really nice mix of what's done well in free studies over a good chunk of time. :)
It was actually fun seeing landscapes in the top 12 this time around. Interesting anomaly. :)
This will happen forever. Landscapes are normally non confrontational, non threatening, dream inducing.
Not easy to shoot for sure, appealing to everybody, instructional. Nothing wrong with it.
Perhaps we just have to specify when they have to be predominant. It seems that FS is the perfect time for landscapes.

I'd rather spoon my eyes out than look at landscapes all day.
