I'm in Australia. Coming to USA for a few days in a month's time.
I want to get a Nikon D600 from B&H Photo, with the kit lens, to be shipped to my brother in VA, but I see that they're backordered now....just tooo much demand!
How long should it take, for them to replenish stocks? Surely it'll be available by a month's time, won't it?
Adorama seems to have it in stock; I took it through checkout and they said nothing about back-order. Scroll down a little for your kit. Adorama are reputable, so that's not a problem.
It's all so very easy. Just a quick phone call, from Australia, a few numbers exchanged backwards and forwards, and voila! A new toy will be waiting for me, on my arrival in a month's time. D600 and the kit lens, with free case, card and battery thrown in on the deal too.
B & H tell me that it should ship in a day or two, to my brother's in VA, so, no delay.
And the Oz dollar's strong today too!
How am I going to manage to keep my excitement contained for a whole month?
I know....I'll just have to keep on shopping, by phone, and online!

See if you can download and read the user manual in the meantime -- that should take the edge off things, but give you an edge when you get your hands on it ... ;-)
