If you have selected an image to critique from the selection page and NOT critiqued it yet, please do so as soon as possible. Once you select an image, it becomes assigned to you and no one else may select it.
when I get an image I like to think about it a bit so I have been posting a note like "I have been assigned to your photo, I'll be back". Just to let the person know that thier picture isn't lost in a dead zone till I get a chance to do my write up.
I do not think that's needed, they do not know that their picture has been assigned so one day or two does not matter that much I guess until it's within the week following the challenge.
What IS critical is that, after you press the GIMME button, you critique the photo before midnight on Sunday. Otherwise, the photo will not get a critique :(
yes it will. I can always find it and criique it. I just post a little note so they know it is coming if I can't do it that minute. I need some time to think and who knows what curve balls life will throw me in the meantime.

that's true that a lot of impression/feelings/convepts were conveyed in that shot.
