True ... they did not reach the top ten .. but my point is that a nice (not saying mine are top nice !) macro or indoor shot does not mean a lot of expensive equipment but just a good use of what you have.

I know what you mean... My "ghetto studio" consists of one $10 floodlight, a piece of foam (from a box), a piece of foil (from the kitchen) and a sheet of black paper. Oh, and a camera. I've already produced two very nice images from it though, and look forward to a challenge that can be done indoors.
Your negative space challenge is great and I gave your four entry one of my top scores (and funnily enough made a comment that you "know your stuff and have good equipment" - so you fooled me).
