I assume it's different from mine. Really, there's no standardization possible (other than the gray-scale below the entries), and people around the world have all kinds of viewing devices, most of them otherwise uncalibrated.
I still use a Sony CRT monitor for my editing, and typically get prints which look like my edited images -- that's really all that's important.
If anything, it seems like most of the complaints are that people have their monitors set too dark, so that shadow detail intended to be seen is lost to many voters ... I guess that means if you have a dark image it's better to make to a little lighter than you would otherwise. |
