Thinking about the Road Signs Challenge, and with the fact that I just bought some new lighting gear, my first idea was to go buy a road sign from one of those hobby shops, like for a train set or something, and do a cool photo with that. But it wouldn't be a "Road Sign" in the blatant sense. Then I remembered a comment, someone said something about making a landscape in his house with Grape Nuts (haha!).
So my point is, there are risks in thinking outside the box. I want to have that picture with that Wow factor, and almost always it'll the only one like it.
So how much risk are you willing to take to win a challenge? So much that your record number of 10's will be outweighed by your record number of 1's? And get that dreaded inverted graph?
Not sure about myself yet. I'd rather do the best that I can do, regardless if it requires a little wiggle room to meet the challenge. I'm still waiting for the day to take that photo worthy of putting on my own wall.
