I ended up barely above a 5.
its OK tho.
I was trying moon photography, which I haven't really shot yet. turned out better than I expected. but still have more room for improvement. :)
Well mine completely bombed and I thought it was pretty good and interesting but apparently not. Anyone feel like giving their insight? I don't really want to start a thread for it.
I gave you a 6. You created shapes with negative space, which is the real goal here. I would have given you more, but I got hair in my mouth.
lmao, thanks for that. So if I shaved I would get more... lol
I shaved specifically for the challenge and looked where I ended up!
Yes but our physiques are very different lol, I'm surprised I don't get all 3's

I gave most studio shots in this challenge a lower score; putting a static object in front of a black or white background didn't appeal to me in terms of "negative" space as in most cases it didn't contribute to the photo (and also said "easy out, little effort" IMO).
While your photo was a studio shot it at least took some effort and the background was a gradient that contributed to the photo / story in a positive, meaningful way.
I handed out a fair number of higher scores, none of which used a studio setup.
