it's true, if you can't take better pictures with a new camera you do suck. I haven't gotten a personal best since I got the 5D Mark2, I am a loser.....

MY personal best was shot with the 20D in 2006: TWO FF bodies and 6 years later, I still can't beat it... Major suckage!
ROFL, you made me go look, and what I found was ugly! Every one of my top 5 (all of my meager ribbon count) were shot with the 10D! Six of my top 10 were shot with the 10D, one with the Nikon 995 (!) and the remaining three with the 5D.
On the positive side, I broke into my top 10 twice in July... there's hope for me yet!

It's a good case study for a couple things:
1: Statistics can be twisted to prove anything (In this case, that 10D and 20D are better cameras than FF)
Sorry you're frustrated, Jere2201. Forget about the scores for a while and just take some time to learn your new camera and have some fun shooting. Keep working at it and things will come around.

They resurrected the name. Also, I think maybe it was originally "Digital Kiss" on the 300D...
I'm really trying to put a S10 shot into my top ten, but that's gonna be a real challenge I think...
Funny enough, as Bear mentioned, standards here have risen quite a bit - interestingly my Metal on Metal entry will be the first appearance of the S10 in a challenge in almost 8 years - I think it should provide a pretty solid metric on just how much things have changed in that time.
As for my top ten? Yeah, I use my 50D too much. Every one of my top ten is the 50D except for #5 and #6 which are S95 shots.
Reality for me was jan to feb we were off work a lot due to weather do I had a lot of free time and most my top 5 and ribbon are fromnthatbtime when I had days not minutes for challenges.
Got one at 6.7 at no though with mk2 and finished 12th innrockwell with it :)
