I was really surprised today when I checked some of my edited images and "soft proofed" them with printer profiles from Costco and canvas on demand and saw very little variation. I mean when I turned the printer profiles "on" the images looked just like I wanted them to or pretty darn close. All I did was re-calibrate my monitor with a spyder express 2 but I've never had such close matches before.
But this doesn't mean that my monitor will totally match up with the lab's printers, does it? |
