Would it be possible to add an "add to favourites" link on each challenge photo (that opens in a new window) on the current challenges?
I say this because sometimes I'll go through the member photos that are current and open them and look at them and want to add them (perhaps while commenting) but I can't. :(
These favourites would have to be hidden from the user profiles during the challenge though, so that someone can't just go look at a certain user and so "Wow, they really liked that photo, so I'll vote it high."
Anyways, I don't know if this is possible or even a good idea. Just thought I would share my vast wealth of pointless thinkings.
I like this idea, but I'm not sure about the coding implications. It would make sure you get your favs marked without having to go back through the whole challenge and find them. Maybe this would go along with my suggestion to be able to sort by how you voted -- Site Suggestion
I'm currently going back through the archives marking my faves (but only at school because dialup is awful....) but I would like it if I could vote and add them to my faves at the same time when voting on the new challenges.
And maybe this would encourage people to add more favourites and bring more recognition to the little guys. Just because you score something low becasue it doesn't meet the challenge, doesn't mean you don't like it as a photo.
I definitely agree that this needs to be done. We're a little preoccupied for the next few weeks, but I promise to add it. Bump this thread for me in 3 weeks if you remember ;)
If you really don't know how to add a favorite manually, you probably can't get to the page you want to bookmark anyway. I mean damn, there's a freakin toolbar button for it on most browsers.
