Just noticed that I passed the 150 submission mark last night. Yeah for me!
Seems like only yesterday that I started hanging out on this site and learned how bad my initial "beginner photos" were. More importantly, I also learned how to improve them. While I may never get that elusive 2nd ribbon (first one was on submission #79 back in 2009), I am still having fun trying.
To celebrate, I am going to give out comments to all images posted in this thread for the next week or so. I'll try to make them as constructive and helpful as possible.
i really like it, but i dont quite get the lowish score. to me the technical's seem perfect, so maybe there's something i'm missing, or maybe it's a challenge relevance thing.
Congrats on your 150th challenge... Looked through your portfolio and it was nice to see your growth due to the site. Added you to my favorite photographers and enjoy the fact that you are sharing and caring on the site!
