I posted the lyrics to my entry in the additional info field. I believe that my score (as well as many others') would have been positively affected had this info been displayed (as I suggested) during the voting.
As it is, people are/were inevitably penalized for choosing to stay out of the most popular mainstream, whether by virtue of their selection being old, regional, topical, or otherwise unfamiliar to the majority of members. This, no matter how well the title actually represents the song, or how evocative of that title the photo might be.
I am curious as to whether others would support having the info field visible for certain challenges like this one...or even agree that it would have made any difference... |
