If I didn't have a serious shot, I figured I could always use this one. Timing is everything in wildlife photography! :)

Sad news: The second year in a row (that I know of) that this osprey nest and its baby have been lost to a storm. We had high winds about a week ago, and the nest is gone. It's incredibly sad. What an extremely rough life birds can have. :(
