My sigma 70-300 has gone slightly mad. At first it stopped focusing and camera shop says the motor was burnt. They fixed it and It worked fine for an hour or so and then started to frantically switch back and forth between Auto and Manual. I sent it back to the shop and their reply was, "Err, what was it that you want to get fixed."
They've tested it on different cameras and it seems to be working fine. I obviously didn't hallucinate the manic behaviour, so does anyone know what happened?
