Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.
This week's Member of the Week is hihosilver. And here are a couple of her photos.

Gosh...when I woke up this morning and received this email, I confess I thought...hmmmm...is someone is playing a practical joke on me?...::stares suspiciously at Yanko::
But wait...the email is signed by the lovely and talented KarenNfld...Hmmmmm.
With great trepidation, I clicked on the thread link provided in the email (oh no! Will I get a computer virus?!)...and landed here.
*Deep sigh of relief*...The familiar grey of DPC...I'm HOME!!!
This thread provides me an opportunity to say what I've wanted to say to this community for a long time (six years actually)...
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although I appreciate this honor, the truth of my thank you is for all the voters, commentors, and RANTS gracious posts in the forums who have brightened my life for the past six years.
P.S.
This week is also my birthday (YAY...29...AGAIN!) So, Karen, my family thanks you so I'll be less grumpy now.
Any discussion about Mae's work must include her horse photography. My understand is these photos were taken while traveling faster that the speed of light, hence the time dilation.
A horse never runs so fast as when he has other horses to catch up and out pace. –Ovid
Go Mae!
You are a rare diamond of a person and a remarkable photographer. You already know I am a bit of a recluse photographer, but I sincerely enjoy shooting with you. It’s refreshing to see you find beauty in everything and everyone around you. You connect with your subjects and blend life and light together with moving emotion. It is a rare talent that can see magic in the mundane. It's good to see you and your work getting some well deserved praise!
I hope you will be sharing your work and wit here for a hundred more years!
