The Emergency challenge finished voting on 26 April 2012. About a week and a half later 2nd place was DQ'd. Another 5 weeks has passed and there is still no recalculation of the challenge. I am aware that SC has sent requests to Langdon....and I have also sent a request to Langdon. But still nothing. There have been 20 challenges since the Emergency challenge...how long will it be before the recalculation is done. My entry missed out on front page as it was.....but 5 weeks is a joke. Everyone that finished 3rd or lower has waited long enough.
Judi? What do you hope to accomplish by posting this to the forums? I'm sure it just slipped through the cracks, and I don't see any tickets from you on this. A simple reminder to the people who can actually do something about it would have sufficed. I'll poke L the next time I see him online.
They didn't forget. There is a government mandated redistribution of wealth (Robin-hood laws, you know) and your ribbon has been reallocated to a deserving member with a sub 5 average.
Scalvert, on 17 May was my last email to Langdon requesting this recalculation. There was no response.
An e-mail to Langdon isn't a "ticket", SC won't be aware of that. If you want SC pulling an oar for you, you need to do a "General Inquiry" ticket; SC reads those, and administrators (i.e. Langdon) have access also. "Administrative Inquiry" tickets go to Langdon and his people, SC never sees them.
Bear Music, as I stated in my OP, I knew that SC had already contacted him.....I waited sometime and then sent him a ticket myself. That was on 17 May....nothing has been done. I am fully aware that SC doesn't see the tickets directly to Langdon which is why I stated that I had sent him an email/ticket both in my OP and my second post. I have been here long enough to know that SC don't see his tickets/emails.
Aside from SC or a member of the community sending him a ticket/email, I didn't know what else to do. Contacting SC wouldn't (IMO) have made any difference to the problem. So I opened up this thread in the hope he may see it.

Neither is true. Langdon won't necessarily see a thread, and if an Admin ticket doesn't work, contacting SC will be the best way to get results... as evidenced by your ribbon.

Only because I happened to see the thread and poked Langdon. A general ticket would have accomplished the same thing with a 100% chance of SC seeing it and no less need for popcorn.
