Dropbox and and the ipad camera connection kit are a perfect combo. I used to rely on icloud, with my photostream switched on but found it quite annoying so i had to switch it off.
While the available storage is not that huge, i find 3gig to be more than enough to hold at least those photos worthy of a backup.
Besides, when travelling. and relying on your hotel's internet, its actually quite troublesome to upload that much gigabytes. So i only sync those that are worthy. If i get home from travel and find that one of my sd cards is corrupted or misplaced, at least its comforting to know that some of the good shots havebeen sync'd with dropbox. If all cards are ok then i simply clear my dropbox |
