I am going to be in Paris for the next few days and need a small travel tripod. One that is small but strong enough to support my D3x and a medium size lens. Any suggestions on a store in Paris that doesn't overcharge. I looked in Nantes, France today and everything seemed very high. All of my tripods back home were too big to bring with me.

Ugh this is brutal! Two people are now passing through Paris just two weeks before I'll be there :( Not quite sure about a tripod store.. Have fun!

Can you rent one there since you already have others back home, or are you looking to add a small one to you "inventory" :-)
