When I received it, the white side was dirty and so was the black side. By dirty I mean like this:
On the black side it looks like chalk markings for measurements. I sent email right away and they asked for pictures. I sent pictures and got an automated response that they would be attending NAB in Las Vegas and won't be able to reply for a week. I re-emailed them and they asked me AGAIN for the photos so I sent them in. The offer was 10USD refund for my troubles (total was 70USD or have exchange for a new one.
I'm not too keen on paying to send this back (More money out of my pocket) and I'm wondering if I could clean it and get those lines 'ironed' out. I figured if I could clean it to make it look like new, I'd be better off...thing is, I don't know how to clean polyester. I emailed the company asking for cleaning instructions and that I would make an attempt at cleaning but would let them know how it goes.
They say pure black and pure white but neither side is really. It's a bit faded...and the dirt on the white just makes it look yuck...should I even make the effort to clean it? |
