so... does the beheading need to be by means of cropping or capturing the shot with the head(s) out of frame? or are other kinds of missing or obscured heads going to pass muster?
Include a person in your photograph; but for artistic effect, you must crop off their head!
so you can crop it off in editing, crop it off in your shot naturally or i'm guessing some other sort of "head removal" (head behind object?) would work.
i've already got a killer image in mind, i just need to talk to some friends about helping with the setup. ;)

Since it says "Crop off their head" then no, I don't think hiding the head in the frame would be acceptable... not in the spirit or terms of the challenge. Having them behind a magazine or someone's hand in front is not "cropping". So the head should be just out of frame, IMO.
But who knows... the voters and most entrants barely pay attention to the challenge theme anyway.

Oh, sure... Take the challenge description LITERALLY this time when I want to be more free and loose with it :-)
May I please respectfully say, "Off with his head" or... "off with her head"... but "their" is plural, so... that would be... "off with their heads"?
And... while we're here... It's FARTHER down the road. FARTHER is about distance.
FURTHER is about accomplishment... as in... "FURTHER along in a project".
Just sayin'...

...and some might argue that going "Farther" down the road could be interpreted as an accomplishment. (Like for people like me who suffer from a physical handicap) :O)
