Does it only happen when you have the camera strapped on your car?
Anyway, the shutter slit moves vertically. You're seeing a VERY slight speed-up in the upper portion of its travel, or alternatively a very slight drag in the lower portion (the top of the image is on the bottom of the sensor). You're probably only seeing it at slow shutter speeds, and in the darker areas. Most likely the shutter needs cleaning, it is probably sticking a little.
That's my best guess anyway.
