Louisiana GTG - DPChallenge Forums

Tis the season for GTG. I was thinking that it would be nice to gave a gtg in Louisisna. I was thinking a state park or a multitude of parks...I was also thinking have it in a neutral area. I don't mind driving...I have got to get out of Monroe for a weekend. Anyone interested and any suggestions would be great. We can set a date after a few people have agreed.

ok since I have had no takers yet, I have come up with a few ideas.

Mansfield battlefield is having a civil war re-enacactment May 26.

also Natchitoches is a great location...It has been forever since I've been there.

any thoughts, ideas, or concerns

OK... where is the nearest airport and are there modestly priced accommodations in the area.

There is a regional airport in Natchitoches....I will have to do some research on the cost of htel accomodations. I know that there is a days inn and they are usually good on price

I'm planning on being in the Lafayette / Abbeville area first week in October. Would be great to have a gtg then. Are you anywhere near there Adam?
