So I'm not just a sports shooter, but I think it's what I do best. I do venture out into Portrait work and even rent a small space for Studio. Here are a few. Thoughts?

Nice JOB! I especially appreciate your waiting until the sweet light window near sunset happens. It makes such a difference in how the photos turn out. I see so many outside portrait shoots shot in midday, and I always think how much prettier they would have looked in the right light. These are beautiful! And so personal in that you captured her relationship with her horse so well. I really feel like I have a sense of what she is like just from these pictures. She and her family will treasure these forever.

Thanks Mary Ann, the light was harsh, but we worked open shade and of course being able to use a studio strobe on location really helps.
Thanks Sandy! I had not seen the location or the horse, and was just told we were going to do some with the horse. They live on 62 acres of farm, and we
also borrowed some stuff at the neighbors farm for some shots. I still have many to go through, but I was really pleased with how the session went and the photos turned out.
Super shots. I do take school and senior photos as my main profession. I think parents should time the photo day and maybe take the dental braces out of kids' mouth so they would smile more and don't look like hiding something... It is sad for me to see kids are pretty much embarrassed by those metal smiles, and I don't blame them... forever photos, I really prefer NOT to have a metal smile, even I know that's the age for those to attach into their mouth!
