I meant to post a re-calculation thread, but was distracted. I have been trying to clean up a few lingering DQ assessments on the concluded challenges. If it was IreneM's photo which has fallen off from 3rd place, that is because she mistook the basic editing challenge for an advanced editing one, and admitted to cloning. Beautiful image nonetheless! Congrats to bnilesh on his 3rd place finish!

Well, first it seems to have been Dudski, with a time/date error, which would have elevated IreneM into 3rd very briefly before she fell from the pedestal and bnilesh ascended. We're keeping our fingers crossed that HE can hold onto the slippery perch :-)
It's always sad to loose some very nice images :( Luckily they stay alive at the bottom of the challenge results :) Unofficial points and ribbons race 2012 is updated!
