Is it possible to have the graphic for the menu (navigation) bar load FIRST rather than last? It would make it much quicker if you want to return to another area if you did not have to wait for all the humbnails to load.
Unfortunately this isn't possible. JavaScript (which is what the menu bar is written in) does not begin executing until all the images on a page have loaded. Unfortunately that's just the way it is.

No possibility of making the top a seperate frame?
I agree, a CSS implementation would be great... but I'm not sure that enough browsers support it enough to be the "major means of navigation" on a popular, international site like DPC.
