I was honored to get a Posthumous Blue Ribbon (best of 2011) and have been trying to post it on my profile page. I tried going to my preferences page, in "Bio" I hit "insert image" pasted the link and then "save". All I get is the link posted on my profile.
I must be going about this all wrong, advise would be great.
when you say link did you just insert the image (award) number? should be something like this.. (thumb)781717(/thumb) and change the normal brackets to square brackets.
Don't use insert image. That is for images that you may have hosted elsewhere. Use the icon to insert a portfolio image (third icon from the right), as shown below:
The other way is to use the far right icon, the one that looks like a red asterisk or flower. That will allow you to browse your portfolio for the image you want to post.
On your profile page, in the Bio section on the left, paste exactly what you have there, but remve the spaces in both the brackets (looks like before the i and the /, and after the g). Then go to the bottom of your profile page and click "Save". That last bit is the part I ALWAYS forget and it does make a difference. :-)
Richard, I just visited your website that is listed on your profile page. Wow! Beautiful work. I especially like your landscapes. The one with the red barn and the rainbow really stood out to me. Nice work.
