Ok it may not be so great, but the local paper published a pic that I had entered here....I slightly edited it...But here it is before I edited for the paper. All I did was brought in the crop on the top and bottom.

Congrats! The first one is a big rush. Now they know you're out there, so maybe it will lead to an ongoing relationship with the paper and grow from there.

I just had 2 of mine, plus a town magazine published. Readers are low, but, its still a good feeling to point and say "that's mine!" :)
