Help me find a specific HDR tutorial

I was enjoying a 5-part video tutorial on HDR I found on Zite and now I can't find it again. There doesn't seem to be a search function on that app. Anyway, someone may be familiar with it. In it, the guy was working on a sunset picture with the underside of a dock on the left of the picture. Ring any bells for anybody?

Ooh, as soon as I did that I found it! It's a good hour-long tutorial for those who want to take the time.

Hey guys, this tutorial is amazing....

Several times during this he makes a layer he calls a "merge layer", out of all the existing layers, without actually merging them. Can anyone tell me how he does this?

Sorry if this is basic and or obvious...lol
