Damn, is this the 1200mm Canon 5.6 ? Then this guy is a lucky one. I sure would be proud if I could get in 14 meters from it, then I would be to close for it to get me in focus.
Check this thread out, scroll down to Eddyg's post for a link to a guy that attached one to his XL1 camcorder. The 7.2X crop factor turned the 1200mm into an 8640mm lens!
I would guess that being in the Canon Museum, and seeing that the camera has a cable attached to it and the lens, I would say this is a diplay model. This way you can at least see the lens and look through it.
